The T2F group investigates the process of intravenous laser ablation by thermal modeling of the bloodstream. Treatment is only effective when the vein is exposed to temperatures above 75 °C for one second or 70 °C during 10 seconds. Results will assist on the laser power selection, pullback speed and the laser tip format.
